Albert Hall Nottingham
A drop off area is available outside entrance 4 (see below); however the vehicle will need to be parked around the front of the building on North Circus Street. There are a number of disabled bays and street parking available for blue badge holders.
Accessible Entrance is located directly off the Maid Marion Way round about adjacent to the Royal Bank of Scotland. Access is gained via a small ramp leading to a level entrance labelled Entrance 4 above the Door. An intercom is provided at the base of the ramp, where access can be requested. Once alerted a member of our team will open the door and are happy to assist if required.
All the facilities are available on the ground floor, which has flat access and wide door widths throughout. The main auditorium (The Great Hall) is on the first floor, which can be accessed by a lift located close to the accessible entrance.
For performances there is a specific accessible seating area located near the first floor lift access, on the upper tier of the auditorium. There is space for up to six wheel chair users and carers. More seats are available close by for people with walking difficulties.
A Hearing Loop is available in the Great Hall during performances.
An accessible toilet is situated in the ground floor lift lobby, with toilet and sink including grab rails. An emergency pull cord is linked to an alert system which notifies the Albert Hall staff.
An accessible taxi service is available from Central cars who can be contacted from reception
