SummerStage in Central Park does NOT offer parking. There is street parking subject to NYC parking meters, rules and regulations. The nearest paid parking lots, which are wholly unaffiliated with SummerStage, are:

iPark – E 67th St. btwn 5th Ave & Madison Ave
MGP: Parking – E 73rd St. btwn 5th Ave & Madison Ave
iPark – E 67th St. btwn Park & Madison Ave

Bag Policy: Clear bags no bigger than 16” tall x 16” wide x 8” deep in size.

ADA requests placed in advance to volunteer@cityparksfoundation.org (include your name, the show date, and whether or not you will have a guest [and how many]) can check in at the Guest List entrance found at the East 72nd and 5th Ave. side in order to receive a wristband for the accessible seating area. Then proceed to the security guard stationed at the accessible seating area and show your wristband to gain entry. Patrons will have access to a ramp into the venue and skip the General Admission line.

If you have NOT reserved in advance, please ask an Usher or Volunteer, who will contact the venue manager to make arrangements.

Once checked in, patrons will have access to an accessible ramp entry and exit point.

Accessible Seating Area Details

Venue is happy to accommodate ADA requests. The accessible seating area is located in front of the Stage Left deck on the East side of the venue. Patrons requiring access to this area are entitled to have one guest accompany them.

Email a request to volunteer@cityparksfoundation.org, including your name, the show date, and whether or not you will have a guest (and how many), with you. Note: If it is a ticketed show, you must provide the name of the person whom tickets were purchased under. You will receive an email confirmation once your space has been reserved.

At the venue, if you have reserved in advance, check in at the Guest List entrance in order to receive a wristband for the accessible seating area, then proceed to the security guard stationed at the accessible seating area and show your wristband to gain entry. If you have NOT reserved in advance, please ask an Usher or Volunteer, who will contact the venue manager to make arrangements. Every effort will be made to accommodate all requests. However, space is limited, and priority is given to those who have reserved in advance.

In the ADA section, patrons will have access to folding chairs as well as open space for wheelchairs.

In the General Admission field, patrons can access two sets on bleachers found on the East and West sides of the venue. Some shows may be seated, such as dance or classical shows, and all patrons will have access to folding chairs.

There are two areas in the venue - the Member Lounge and the Terrace deck - that offer seating but require a paid SummerStage membership for access.

Restrooms – Other/Details:

Yes, all SummerStage events have restrooms and accessible facilities.

In Central Park, restrooms are located behind the Member Lounge.Port-a-let restrooms are on-site for all patrons.

Food Food and drink is for sale by our food concessionaire. Cash and credit cards are accepted.
