Parking & Transportation:

There is a free parking lot operated by the City of DeKalb directly across the street from the theatre. There are three additional city parking lots within a one block radius of the theatre. In addition there is also parking on most streets surrounding the theatre. All parking lots and street parking in Downtown DeKalb is FREE! The sidewalk underneath the marquee may also be used for drop-off and pick-up. Routes 16 and 17 provide bus access to Downtown DeKalb with stops one block from the Egyptian Theatre.

Due to the historic nature of the Egyptian Theatre, built in 1929, there is no elevator to the mezzanine or balcony.

Wheeled mobility devices with less than 3 wheels and devices that cannot maintain stability and balance when stopped, powered off, or unoccupied are not permitted.

Staff is trained on accessibility and ableism.
