Parking & Transportation:

First Avenue does not have their own parking lot or parking spots. The closest and most accessible option for parking is the city lot behind the venue on 1st Ave & 8th St. Lot entrance is on 8th St. This is a one level surface lot.

The Mayo building parking ramp is another option. Located across the street from the venue on 7th St. This is an underground parking ramp. There are accessible elevators to the street level.

Jump the Line – Other:

Disabled patrons may come to the middle doors at the front of the venue. Ask for management to jump the line and be escorted in.

Stairs – Other/Details:

There are no stairs to enter the venue itself. Once inside, go to the left side to access the ramp to the main floor.

Accessible Seating Area Details

We offer two accessible seating areas.

1. Wheelchair spaces and chairs with back rests on the main floor behind the sound board. View is straight on to the stage. No viewing obstruction.

2. Stools along the balcony for patrons who can't stand for long periods of time. Views are slightly off center from the stage on either the left or right side of the venue. No viewing obstruction.

All tickets sold are general admission standing room. Please contact the office prior to the day of show to reserve a space in one of our accessible seating sections. The venue can be reached Monday through Friday 10:00am to 6:30pm by emailing info@first-avenue.com or calling 612.338.8388.

Balcony Details:

We do have a balcony. The balcony is only accessible by stairs, and is all standing room only with the exception of our reserved ADA stools.

All ticket holders may access the balcony unless the show is an All Ages event. During All Ages events the balcony is strictly 21+.
