Real Art Tacoma
Parallel street parking all around the venue. Street parking is free, but limited to 2 hours until 5 or 6 pm. Parking fills up quickly.
For the most part, people trickle in for shows rather than all coming in at once in line. Patrons enter based on when they arrive.
Stage isn't extremely high (about 3 feet off the floor), and side stage area is not blocked off. Alert staff members of a need for an accessible and safe area, and the show managers are generally more than happy to help out.
Alert a staff member if you need a chair, and they can accommodate and bring out folding chairs for you!
Restrooms are separated and considered gender neutral. One contains two stalls (one accessible, one smaller), the other contains one accessible stall and a urinal. Both restrooms have one sink.
Real Art Tacoma is a non-profit, volunteer run, all ages venue in Tacoma. The volunteers who run the space work hard to be inclusive for all patrons, and are constantly making strides to be more welcoming to marginalized groups.
