Website: https://thephoenixconcerttheatre.com/
Parking & Transportation:
There’s a public parking lot across the street, unsure if any are reserved as accessible.
Jump the Line: Unsure if disabled patrons are allowed in first
Stairs – Other/Details:
“There are stairs at the main entrance but there’s a ramp they can put out. I’ve seen patrons with electric wheelchairs brought in and out no problem. Call ahead/email ahead so they’re ready for you.”
Accessible Seating Area Details
“There is an accessible area on the floor GA section. It’s the far side from where you enter the concert area, which is tricky for moving to/from bathrooms mid-show when it’s packed, but security will escort you (and will not take nonsense from crowds/will protect you) if you need to move in and out). It is a separate gated section that reaches to the front of stage.
If you are on a mobility device, you will be given a spot to park along the wall. They stagger people so everyone can see well. If you’re walking on crutches, they will give you and your guest folding chairs and ask if you do stand up to do so in a way that doesn’t block others behind you, which is helpful. They will help get water for you and check in during the set. The one down side is if you’re invisibly disabled, venue security wants a doctor’s note/”proof” of disability – when I got hassled, a paramedic came to talk to me and once I described my condition, she immediately waved them off and the idea of a note and took me right in. I would suggest if invisibly disabled that you write an email a week in advance (they take 3 days to reply from my experience).”
Balcony Details:
There is a balcony section that is often ticketed and sold separately, with GA first come, first served seating. There are stairs, no elevator. Tickets usually cost 5-10 bucks more.
Seating-Other/Details:
In the GA floor section, they have limited folding chairs but once you’re in there, you’re in there. There’s no temporary pit stop usage.
Accommodations for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Patrons:
Unsure of availability.
Restrooms – Other/Details:
There are washrooms on the main floor, unsure if there’s an accessible size stall. There are no automated doors on the entries.
